Use of the website

By using this site you agree to use it lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or security. We may update, suspend or withdraw parts of the site at any time.

Product information

We aim to describe every rug accurately, including construction, material, colourway and dimensions. Screens differ, so photographs and on-screen previews are an indication of colour rather than an exact match.

Handmade variation

Our rugs are woven by hand. Minor variations in colour, texture, weave and finished dimensions are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects.

Pricing

• Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
• Taxes, where applicable, are calculated at payment. Import duties and local taxes on international orders are the responsibility of the recipient unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• If a price or product detail is listed in error, we may cancel the affected order and refund it in full rather than proceed on incorrect terms.

Payment

Orders are payable in full at checkout. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers. Your order is confirmed once payment has been verified.

Made-to-order production

Rugs are produced after your order is confirmed. Estimated production and dispatch is within 25–30 business days, which is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date.

Shipping

Delivery, complimentary U.S. shipping eligibility, transit and damage reporting are governed by our Shipping policy.

Custom orders

Custom sizes, colours, shapes and project-specific rugs are governed by our Custom Order policy, including specification approval and final-sale terms once production begins.

Returns and exchanges

Cancellation, exchange, damage and defect terms are set out in our Returns & Exchanges policy, which forms part of these terms.

Intellectual property

The Sharmaya name, designs, photography, text and site content are owned by Sharmaya Rugs or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

Prohibited misuse

• No attempt to access private or administrative areas of the site
• No scraping, automated bulk collection or resale of site content
• No fraudulent orders, payment fraud or misuse of promotional terms
• No uploading of unlawful, infringing or harmful material through our forms

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sharmaya Rugs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or from a delay in production or delivery. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law, and where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount paid for the affected order.

Applicable law

These terms are read together with the consumer protection laws applying in your place of residence, and nothing here removes rights granted to you by those laws. Disputes will be handled under the law applicable to your purchase.
